Against the backdrop of intensifying global climate change and the urgent pursuit of carbon neutrality goals, in-depth exploration of innovative pathways toward carbon neutrality and climate finance, as well as the synergistic mechanisms driving the development of new productive forces through the digital economy, has become a core concern for both the academic community and policymakers.The 12th carbon neutrality and climate finance forum will be held on October 17-18, 2025, at Shantou, Guangzhou. The forum is jointly organized by the Energy Finance Committee of the International Society for Energy Transition Studies (ISETS) and the Climate Finance Subcommittee of the Chinese Society of Optimization, Overall Planning and Economic Mathematics (“Shuangfa” Society), hosted by the School of Business Shantou University.

We welcome submissions of academic papers in, but not limited to, the fields of New Productivity, Digital Economy, and Sustainable Development. All submissions will be reviewed by the Forum’s Academic Committee. Papers must be unpublished full manuscripts in Chinese or English, submitted in PDF format only. Please indicate “12th Forum on Carbon Neutrality and Climate Finance” in the email subject line and include the author’s name and affiliation/status (e.g., faculty member, Ph.D. student) in the email body.
